About the subject/choice of the reference photo
The fair hair lady you can see in the drawing is Marta, a very talented and sweet girl whom you might know as *Marcysiabush . If you don't, I strongly recommend you to visit her gallery :aww:
Why I drew Marta? Because she was so kind to accept my offer of art-trade after she had portrayed me. So... basically, we drew each other and exchanged the portraits.

About the portrait
As the reference photo was rather greyish without deep black areas, I decided to draw such a background. Originally, there was some blurry grass, but I thought it would make a drawing monotonous. I'm glad how neatly it turned out.

Oh, I love how the light hits her face and her hair here! That could've looked awkward, but you pulled it off! I also like the contrast between the light atmosphere of the drawing and her dark eyes. Great drawing! :aww:
