About the subject | the choice of the reference photo


The couple that has been portrayed here, is John Taylor, the guitarist of the band called Young Guns, and his fan, Karolina. The drawing had been commissioned by Karolina's friend, Monika. The reference photo was a real one, it wasn't a photomanipulation from two pictures.


About the drawing


It was a very pleasant portrait to draw :aww: I enjoyed trying out drawing a new texture - I meant the texture of his hoodie. I'm happy their faces didn't turn out flat as it sometimes happens to me, because of the low quality and contrast of the reference photo and [this one was very nice, big and sharp].

This was the last commission I had to draw! :iconflowerdanceplz: Dobby is freeeeee! :XD:

Thank you :iconohstopityouplz: I'm pleased you like this drawing :iconglompglompplz: But just to clear things up: I'm not a fan of Young Guns. This was a commissioned portrait, drawn for someone's request. I don't mind YG music, tho, I very much like one of their songs - Bones. That's all :B
