Jennifer Carpenter is an American actress, best-known from a series Dexter. She plays there Debra, a foster-sister of Dexter, the main character played by Michael C.Hall. What's funny, in real life, she is Michael's wife.

I drew a portrait of Jennifer 'cause I just love her character ^^ The series would lack something if Debra wasn't there. Why?

Dexter Morgan: Rita's pregnant. [Dexter's girlfriend]
Debra Morgan: Say it again.
Dexter Morgan: Rita's pregnant.
Debra Morgan: You're lying.
Dexter Morgan: I'm not lying.
Debra Morgan: A baby? A motherfucking rolly-poly, chubby, cheeked, shit machine? Are you kidding me?
Dexter Morgan: I've never heard it described in quite those words before, but yeah.

Debra is f*cking great

Since lately I've been drawing only men and using up many pencils to get very black areas and strong contrast, I decided to draw a nice, plain, not very complicated portrait of a woman, and here it is. I like how it turned out, especially the necklace [though it was pain in the ass in some parts] and her eyes. Enjoy!
