About the subject


The portrait is depiction of an actor Ian Somerhalder as Damon Salvatore, the sexy and sarcastic vampire in The Vampire Diaries. It's probably the tenth portrait of Ian which I've drawn through 7 years, hope you don't mind :lol: I just adore his facial features, especially the mesmerizing eyes [which aren't seen here ha ha!] and his acting style as Damon.

About the drawing


It was a very spontaneous decision to draw this. The previous day I tried to paint with watercolours, but failed. I felt I had to draw something different, without using pencils, something quick. So I browsed my folder with various pictures next day and found this. I sat and, watching telly, I drew this in almost 3 hours. I'm happy with the outcome :)
