As I declared creating more atypical drawings than my usual portraits, here I am, fulfilling the promise. It's a portrait of lovers based on an advertisement of Pierre Cardin's perfume 'Emotion'.
I have always wanted to draw this photo and have had it in my drawer for a few long ages; finally I had guts to do it and I'm rather glad how it turned out, thought... the girl's hair improvisation didn't work out a bit I spent a bloody long time to finish it - the most time-consuming were their faces.

I'm not too much satisfied with the scan, 'cause it seems to be a little tiny bit too dark, but when I'm lighthening it in Photoshop, their bodies are starting to be too bright .__.

I really do hope I captured their passion properly. Did I? Please comment, I'll appreciate all support as hell

Wow, this is seriously amazing! You have done a great job on this. Technique wise, its virtually faultless. The proportions of the figures are spot on, the dark background really defines them and makes them pop.

Hair really is a bitch hey? Turned out really good though, very realistic. The only criticism i would have is that the female could possibly benefit from some more contrast in the hair that is dangling. But thats nothing, really.

My favourite part about this is definitely the passion expressed. It's so tense, you could almost feel everything they are feeling just by looking at it. Love it, well done!
